We believe in the power of chess to shape critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and leadership. Our campaign aims to distribute chess sets to 100 schools across all districts, using the game as a tool to inspire the next generation of judges and lawyers who will lead with integrity and fairness.
Why Chess?
Chess is more than just a game; it teaches strategic thinking, patience, and responsibility. By integrating chess into schools, we aim to give students the cognitive and ethical foundation needed to become future leaders in Malawi's judiciary. Chess encourages thinking several steps ahead, a skill essential for making just and well-considered decisions—exactly what we need in future judges, lawyers and leaders.

How Your Donation Helps:
While we have secured the chess sets from the Gift of chess a charity organization, we need your support to cover the costs of logistics and distribution to ensure they reach the schools effectively. Your contribution will help:
  • Fund the logistical arrangements necessary for delivering chess sets to schools in all districts.
  • Provide training resources to help educators use chess as a tool for ethical leadership development.
  • Ensure equal access to this program across Malawi, including schools in remote areas
Our Goal
We are aiming to raise 4,000,000 Malawian Kwacha (approximately $2,000 USD) to cover the costs of logistics, including packaging, distribution, and coordination with schools. Every donation brings us closer to empowering thousands of students through chess, preparing them to be future leaders in Malawi’s legal and judicial systems.
Join Us in Shaping a Just Future
By contributing to this campaign, you are not just supporting the distribution of chess sets—you are investing in a brighter, more just future for Malawi. Your donation will help inspire future judges, lawyers, and ethical leaders across the nation, one chess set at a time.
