*UNILIA - LAWS CAMPUS NEWS* The *Innocent Gondwe Foundation* has announced the launch of a one-week charitable initiative, set to commence on Tuesday. The organization's founder and chairperson, Innocent Gondwe, who is also the Students Union president and politician, confirmed the development in an afternoon statement. The initiative aims to donate groceries like: cooking oil, flour, relish, sugar among others, to approximately 100 needy students. "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our different donors from Malawi and abroad for their support towards this initiative, and am excited to see that many well wishers are willing to help. Am hopeful by Tuesday we will have more resources. Am doing these charitable initiatives not that I have more money, not that I want to gain popularity, but for many times in my life I have also been a victim of financial hardships, so i know the gravity and consequences of such situations. However, I believe that each and every problem has a solution", Gondwe said. He has further assured the students community that during his tenure as Students Union president officially from next semester onwards, he will not allow any student to withdraw from the university on the grounds of lacking tuition fees."With confidence, dedication and determination, everything is possible", he asserted. Issues regarding groceries, Social welfare directors *Themba Nkhwazi* and *Pemphero Soko,* are overseeing the selection of beneficiaries. Therefore, students are informed that the President will not be involved in selecting beneficiaries. Kindly contact *Themba Nkhwazi* on: 0880968786, and *Pemphero Soko* on 0993829925
